PROTECT the beauty of our parks, playgrounds and open spaces.
PROTECT your neighborhood and property values.
PROTECT our children from unnecessary hazards.
It is critical our city do all it can to prevent mistakes like this...or else this will start happening throughout all of Huntington Beach.

Take a closer look at why we think these locations are NOT responsible.

We want responsible, intelligent placement of cell towers throughout Huntington Beach.
T-Mobile is attempting to force the City of Huntington Beach to put their cell tower over Harbour View Elementary School and Bolsa View Park.
Huntington Beach needs intelligent planning for placement of these structures. Erecting towers adjacent to kindergarten playgrounds creates an obvious climbing hazard and lowers the neighborhood’s property values. Let’s not allow corporations to continue erecting tower after tower within our parks, beaches and neighborhoods.
Your NO vote on Measure Q lets our city and T-Mobile know we, as a city, do not wish to have cell towers placed at Harbour View School and Bolsa View Park. This will set a precedent that Huntington Beach officials will not put cell towers right next to our playgrounds.
We are asking our city to follow a precautionary principle and believe these towers should not be near to school play areas. Since we really do not know the immediate or future effects this constant radiation will have on our kids, let's use caution. Additionally, placing these towers so prominently within a play area creates an attractive (and dangerous) climbing hazard and an unattractive eyesore in HB's beautiful parks and beaches.
Because of the poor choice of locations of these towers they would be quite obvious located within these housing communities. This will result in lower property values for the homes within those neighborhoods and lowers the overall quality of our community.
T-Mobile has not explored less intrusive locations as required by law, and if the actual cost of the towers had not been originally misrepresented as below $100,000, then T-Mobile would have had to legally notify the neighbors.
School kids have enough to absorb, let's not add environmental radiation to the daily curriculum
If the tower is put in Harbour View Park adjacent to the school, hundreds of children will be exposed to close-range radiation for more than 6 hours a day…day after day, week after week, year after year. There are numerous dangers and detriments to our community if this is installed. Additionally, property values are estimated to decrease by nearly 25%. We have to tell our city council to fight for us and stand up for the children of Huntington Beach.

Summary Judgement Denied to T-Mobile
After T-Mobile sued our city ONCE AGAIN to force a summary judgment to allow them to immediately build, the judge ruled against T-Mobile saying our city has valid reasons for the revocation of the permits.
